Is Bodhansh free to use?

Yes. Bodhansh is completely free with no in-app purchases, subscriptions, or ads. All features — scriptures, meditation, hymns, AI guide, and community reflections — are available at no cost.

How do I sign in?

You can sign in using your phone number (OTP), email (magic link), Google account, or Apple ID (iOS only). No password is required.

What languages does the app support?

Bodhansh is available in English, Hindi, and Marathi. You can switch languages at any time from Settings.

How do I delete my account?

Go to Settings → scroll to the bottom → tap "Delete Account." This permanently deletes your authentication account and all locally stored data. For complete removal of community content (reflections, comments), email us at bodhansh.app@gmail.com. See our account deletion page for full details.

How do I block a user?

Tap the three-dot menu on any reflection and select "Block User." Their reflections will no longer appear in your feed. You can manage blocked users from Settings.

My daily streak was reset. Why?

Bodhansh gives you a 2-day grace period. If you miss 3 or more consecutive days, your streak resets to zero. Complete any sadhana activity (read a verse, meditate, or listen to a hymn) to start building your streak again.

Can I use Bodhansh offline?

Scripture reading, meditation, and hymn playback work offline since the content is bundled in the app. Features that require the internet include the AI Guide, community reflections, and account management.

Account Help

I can't sign in

Make sure you have a stable internet connection. If using phone OTP, ensure the number is correct and wait for the full 60-second cooldown before requesting a new code. For email sign-in, check your spam folder for the magic link.

I signed in with a different method and lost my data

Each sign-in method creates a separate account. If you previously signed in with your phone number and now used Google, you may be on a different account. Try signing out and signing in with your original method.

I want to change my username

Usernames are auto-generated and cannot be changed at this time. Your username is displayed as your identity in the Reflections community.
