Bodhansh is a spiritual companion application that provides:

• Access to Hindu scriptures including the Bhagavad Gita, Ramayana, Mahabharata, and Vedas with Sanskrit text, transliteration, and bilingual translations
• AI-powered spiritual guidance and philosophical discussions via "Dharma Sahayak"
• Guided and timed meditation with ambient sounds and text-to-speech narration
• Community Reflections — a social feature for sharing and discovering spiritual insights, with likes, comments, bookmarks, and sharing
• Devotional hymns and audio content (60+ tracks across 9 categories)
• Vedic astrology features including zodiac signs and birth chart (Kundli) calculations
• Daily sadhana (spiritual practice) tracking, goal setting, and streaks
• Information about 50+ Hindu deities with mantras, symbolism, and temple locations
• Push notifications for community engagement and configurable local reminders

• You must create an account to use the App. You can sign in using your phone number, email, Google account, or Apple ID.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You must provide accurate information during registration.
• You must be at least 13 years of age to create an account.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

a) Community Reflections

Bodhansh includes a community feature called "Reflections" where you can share short spiritual insights (up to 500 characters) tagged with scripture references. Your reflections are publicly visible to all users alongside your auto-generated username.

b) Content Guidelines

When posting reflections or comments, you agree to:

• Share only content that is relevant to spirituality, philosophy, or personal growth
• Be respectful of all spiritual traditions, beliefs, and practitioners
• Not post hate speech, harassment, threats, or discriminatory content
• Not post spam, advertisements, or promotional content
• Not post sexually explicit or violent content
• Not impersonate other users or public figures
• Not post personal information of others without their consent

c) AI Moderation

All reflections are automatically reviewed by an AI moderation system (powered by Google Gemini) before becoming publicly visible. The AI evaluates content for spiritual appropriateness and may reject reflections that violate our guidelines. This process is automated and decisions are final, though you may contact us if you believe a reflection was unfairly rejected.

d) Reporting & Enforcement

Users can report reflections they believe violate these guidelines. Reflections that receive 3 or more reports are automatically hidden from the public feed. We reserve the right to:

• Remove any content that violates these guidelines
• Suspend or terminate accounts that repeatedly violate community standards
• Modify or update the moderation criteria at any time

e) Interactions

You can interact with community content through likes (Namaste), comments (up to 300 characters), threaded replies, bookmarking, and sharing. You can delete your own comments at any time. Authors receive push notifications for likes and comments on their reflections.

You agree to use Bodhansh only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

• Use the App for any illegal or unauthorised purpose
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the App
• Misuse the AI spiritual guide by submitting harmful, abusive, or inappropriate content
• Post reflections or comments that contain hate speech, harassment, spam, or content unrelated to spiritual topics
• Abuse the reporting system by filing false reports against reflections
• Attempt to circumvent the AI content moderation system
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's servers, APIs, or services
• Scrape, harvest, or collect data from the App through automated means
• Impersonate any person or entity while using the App

• Bodhansh is not a substitute for professional medical, psychological, legal, or financial advice.
• Astrological predictions and birth chart interpretations are based on traditional Vedic astrology calculations and should not be relied upon for making important life decisions.
• The AI spiritual guide provides responses based on scriptural texts and general spiritual philosophy. It is not a qualified counsellor, therapist, or religious authority.
• Scripture translations and interpretations may vary across traditions. We present one perspective and encourage users to consult qualified scholars for deeper understanding.
• If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please contact a qualified healthcare professional or your local emergency services immediately.

a) Scripture Content

The Hindu scriptures (Bhagavad Gita, Ramayana, Mahabharata, Vedas, Upanishads, Puranas) included in the App are ancient texts in the public domain. Translations, commentaries, and curated presentations within the App are provided for educational purposes.

b) App Content

The App's design, user interface, original text, audio recordings, images, logos, and software code are the intellectual property of Bodhansh and are protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from this content without our written permission.

c) User Content

Any content you submit through the App (such as reflections, comments, chat messages to the AI guide, or feedback) remains yours. By posting reflections or comments to the community, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display, distribute, and moderate that content within the App and its services. You understand that reflections and comments are publicly visible to all users.

• The AI spiritual guide ("Dharma Sahayak") and guided meditation scripts are generated using Google Generative AI (Gemini).
• AI-generated responses may occasionally be inaccurate, incomplete, or not aligned with specific traditions or lineages.
• We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or appropriateness of AI-generated content.
• AI is also used to moderate community reflections and auto-tag scripture references. Moderation decisions are automated and may not be perfect.
• Your chat messages and reflection text are processed by Google's AI services. Please refer to our Privacy Policy and Google's AI terms for details on data handling.

The App integrates with third-party services to provide its features:

These services have their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or practices of third-party services. Service interruptions from third-party providers may temporarily affect App features.

• We strive to keep the App available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access.
• We may modify, update, or discontinue features at any time without prior notice.
• Some features require an internet connection (AI chat, community reflections, push notifications, horoscope, kundli generation, location search).
• Offline features (scripture reading, meditation timer, hymn playback, scripture bookmarks) will continue to work without internet.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

• Bodhansh is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
• We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App.
• We do not warrant that astrological calculations, AI responses, or scripture content will be error-free or meet your specific expectations.
• Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid to us for use of the App in the twelve months preceding the claim.

• You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete Account.
• Account deletion permanently removes all your data and cannot be undone.
• We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, including community content guidelines.
• Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
